Run for Down Syndrome

LuMind Research Down Syndrome’s Runners is the national charity running program advancing Down syndrome cognition research. Your support of LuMind RDS Runners will help translate research into drug therapies to significantly improve cognition, including memory, learning, and speech in people with Down syndrome.

LuMind RDS Runners fundraise in any type of race: Fun Runs / 5Ks / 10Ks / Half Marathons / Full Marathons / TRIATHLONS and compete in Any Race… Any Place… Any Date…

2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon (October 8, 2017): Skip the lottery and guarantee your spot in the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Lottery opens on October 24, 2016 and charity registration begins the same day. Applications will be accepted through January 18, 2017.

2017 Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon (July 16, 2017): This wildly popular race event sells out in just minutes after registration opens – but we’ve saved you some spots (and these race entries are free). Race registration opens in mid-November. Charity registration begins just minutes later.

2017 World Down Syndrome Day VIRTUAL Run/Walk (March 2017): Join us throughout the month of March for this “virtual” fundraiser that can be done from anywhere – your home, your gym, the dreaded treadmill in the garage, your favorite park, or at your local running store! More details to come!

2017 San Francisco Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5k Race Series (July 23, 2017): Guarantee your FREE entry into any of the races offered in San Francisco this summer. Check back for more details shortly!
