Sarah is an independent consultant specializing in strategic oversight and management of non-profit boards.
As an independent consultant, Sarah has provided ecommerce business best practices engagement for Timbuk2 Designs Inc., and business planning and general management engagement at Tiny Prints Inc. Sarah has leveraged her expertise in marketing strategy and planning, web-based product management and ecommerce operations for retail institutions like William Sonoma and Enkata Technologies.
This is Sarah’s second tour with LuMind having previously served for seven years, chairing the board from 2012-2014. During her tenure as Board Chair, Sarah made many tremendous contributions that had long-term, very positive impacts on the organization. She drove the rebranding effort as we migrated from DSRTF to LuMind Foundation, led the search committee for LuMind’s previous executive director and strengthened relationships with local affiliate groups. She also arranged fund raising events and research presentations to cultivate new donors and help grow the organization. In 2015, Sarah received the LuMind Luminary Award for her leadership and dedication to the organization.
Sarah received a bachelor’s in International Relations from Miami University and an MBA from The George Washington University – School of Business. She lives in California with her husband, Dan, son
