The t21RS International Conference is the largest biannual international Down syndrome meeting involving researchers and clinicians working on Down syndrome and is the first research society dedicated to research concerning all aspects of research from fundamental studies of gene dosage effects on development and function to clinical approaches to amelioration. t21RS has devised an excellent four day scientific program with top speakers in different clinical and basic research areas, including a plenary lecture by the new director of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, a Science and Society session to involve families and organizations supporting Ds to involve the latest research findings, and a number of outstanding symposia featuring leading scientists from around the world. A special one day symposium will focus on new developments in Ds and Alzheimer Disease.
